SPRING ACTIVITIES Superstition Mountain Hike & Free Dinner
Join us for the Square Dance & Dinner $15 Saturday February 25 5:30pm This is a great event to invite friends and meet new friends... and learn how to Square Dance! We will meet at the ASU Bookstore at 5:30 for transportation. There will be a dinner served, a professional Square Dance teacher and caller will be there to teach all of us how to do this American traditional western dance. Cost $15 includes dinner, transportation and teacher. Sign up at our ISC Table on the campus of ASU. Intercultural Evening Saturday, February 18 5-8pmDiscussion, Games, Food & More Join us for a time of intercultural friendship building. Each month we focus on topics that many international students experience in the US. Afterwards we share a meal and enjoy some fun and games. We're meeting at a home near ASU (Rural & Southern): 2919 S. Rita Lane, 85282. For transportation, meet at Ray's Barber's Shop on Lemon at 4:30pm. Register on the web or at the ISC Table. Spring Break Trip March 19-22 Los Angeles California Dreams Come True when you sign up for this fun-filled, action-packed, thrill-seeking adventure to Universal Studios (Hollywood) and Knotts Berry Farm. Cost: $365 includes three nights in a hotel (two to a room), transportation by rented van and tickets to Universal Studios Hollywood and Knotts Berry Farm. Breakfast will be provided, but all other meals and expenses are the responsibility of the student. To reserve you must pay a $100 deposit before March 15. Visit the ISC table located west of the Memorial Union from 9:30am to 12:30pm Monday-Thursday to get information, practice speaking English, meet others and/or sign up for ISC activities. Sponsored by a national Christian organization, our goal is to help all international students during their time here in the USA through practical help social and recreational activities, trips, English conversational classes and Bible studies. SPRING WEEKLY ACTIVITIES English Conversation Class Every Thursday Night at 7:30pm This is an opportunity for students and their spouses to practice English, with native speakers. Starts at 7:30pm in the ASU Memorial Union at the center of campus. Please check the TV monitors to confirm meeting room. Contact Joan at stockmas@flash.net International Bible Study Every Friday, at 7:00pm You are invited to join us at Nancy Peterson's house, 103 E. Santa Cruz, Tempe, AZ. Dinner will be served promptly at 7:00pm, followed by singing, prayer time, and the Bible study. There will be student pickup at 6:30pm at the ASU Bookstore on campus and also in front of Ray's Barber Shop on Lemon just east of Rural and just behind the Circle K. Contact Nancy at 480-446-7073. Sunday Bible Class Every Sunday at 11:00am This Bible Class will be for international students and professionals.
